Skunk-Off

Ran out of my old mixture got this to be on the safe side hoping I'd never need to try it, but my Foxhound got sprayed again this morning. Best product ever for this situation. It just works. Going to joyfully order another to be prepared. 👍🏻

Skunk Off has saved my life! If you live in the country and have a dog… BUT IT! I read the bad reviews and I think people are just angry about getting sprayed/animal sprayed. I have lived without skunk Off and it’s 70% better with it! The skunk smell lasts for months on your pet. Water makes it worse. Skunk Off… makes it a little more tolerable. I have not found a product that eliminates completely, but so far this is the best!

My beautiful but very dumb 13 year old Labrador mix has been sprayed 9 mfing times this year. I tried every single spray you can think of I even did the DIY shampoos. I bought skunk off about a day after my old gal got sprayed (incident #8) and it worked well but she had already aired out so I couldn’t really test it fully. Unfortunately, she got sprayed again last night (incident #9). I am SHOCKED at how well and how fast it works. I will forever have some on hand until the colony of skunks are finally all evicted from my deck & shed. I sprayed it right on the stain, let it sit on fur for 5 minutes before I hosed her down and it worked!!!! I am floored.

Our dog sparky got sprayed by a skunk, very upclose, he was puking and boy did have a smell. I did some research on what would take the smell away. these 3 products used together did wonders, it took 3 days with 3 baths a day. I would most definitely recommend skunk off.

Terrible smell, worse than the skunk smell itself. Better off with different brand sold at pet stores.

I used this not on a dog. I found a dead skunk. The skunk got it's head trayed in a wire mesh and looks like it broke it's neck. It appears to have sprayed the blanket that was close. I received my order and went out and sprayed the area and I think it killed the skunk odor really well. I will spray the area a few more times before I try to remove the skunk. Very happy with this product

This worked wonders, especially being a spray bottle for the areas that needed impact.

Our pups get sprayed a couple of times a year and nothing we do has ever gotten rid of the smell. This spray nuertalized it as soon as it hit their fur. With so many mediocre reviews we didn't expect this result, but it's a great product and our go to from now on

This keeps proving to work on surfaces and in the air for the stubborn skunk smell! It works very well!

My dog (a basset hound) has never learned to stay away from skunks. Thankfully I keep an extra bottle of this stuff. She attacked another one last night, this one fought back. I finally got her away from it and whew, she stunk. She also had a bad gash on her back. I had to get this skunk off on her so I could clean her up and get her to the vet. This stuff works!

Best skunk removal we ever used. Dog got heavily sprayed by skunks ran in the house onto the couch and rubbed it all into the couch. Tried peroxide, baking soda and dawn with not much luck on the dog. Three days later re bathed the dog in Skunk Off and was amazed how well it worked. Finally no more Skunk smelly dog. Sprayed it on my couch and took the smell out of it too. Highly recommend

It has been well over 5 years since we found this product. I buy it by the Gallon since it is so very good and useful. NOT ONLY for Skunk smell! Our dogs like to roll on dead animals too and it works wonders to remove that stink too! Dead snakes, mice, possums, etc. It works on fabrics as well as pets.

I had tried Pooph previously when my dog was skunked, but it didn't do the job. This time vet recommended the Dawn soap+3% hydrogen peroxide+baking soda and I mixed that in oatmeal dog shampoo to get the skunk oils off and then followed up with the Skunk Odor Off Eliminator and HALLELUJAH IT WORKED!!! With zero irritation. Dog is like new again (lol). So very grateful this product exists and I have a reliable solution for next time.

This stuff works!!! Second skunk spray in 3 months, this made ALL the difference bc the first spray took months to get out and 13 baths. This worked on bath number 1!! Amazing!!

This stuff works. My dog was sprayed. I used the dish soap, baking soda, and hydrogen peroxide at first but the smell lingered. Then I used this and my dog smells normal again.

This stuff is absolutely amazing.

My wife and I are pet sitters and this is the first time we've had to deal with Skunk before. The dog got hit with concentrated skunk spray and OMG THIS WAS FOUL, this dog got skunk smell all over the house. It smelled so bad it was making us feel sick from the smell, we bathed this dog twice with De-Skunk Shampoo and he still stunk. As soon as the Skunk Off arrived I sprayed the whole house and the dog with it, OMG this is the best skunk product EVER. Both House and Dog no longer smell like skunk, Thank You Skunk Off.

Works great!! No more odors!!

Worked better than expected. Even the manager at the pet store where I washed our dog was surprised! Would definitely recommend this product.

If you live in an area with skunks, make sure you have this ready. Rinse your pup (or you) and then shampoo with this product. Be careful around the eyes - it will sting. It does work. The odor was reduced considerably.

Our dog keeps getting sprayed by a skunk. We typically mix up baking soda, peroxide and dish soap and make a paste to put on her and let it sit. That gets most of the smell out. Then we use skunk off to get the remainder of the smell. I recommend this product!

This worked too good. Our dog got sprayed at 2am and we had to leave him in the garage until this product came at 4:30pm. By 4:50 we were giving him a bath to rinse it off and I can not find any traces of the skunk smell. For $30 you can’t go wrong.

This really does work. It removed the smell from my dogs fur and leaves a fresh scent

This works. You do have to re apply, but it’s a life saver. The scent is pleasant as well. I will buy again if I am ever unfortunate enough to have need of it.

Very good in laundry to eliminate smell.Effective on pet as well.

Came back to write this review!My husband bought this to have on hand after our last run in with a skunk and this morning it was put to use. All 4 of my dogs attacked a skunk and got sprayed all over. The smell was unbearable. We sprayed this all over all 4 dogs and the smell went away almost immediately. We left it on for a bit and rinsed off as directed and their fur all smells fine now and I was amazed. I also thought I kept smelling candy cherry scent and it ended up being the dogs after the spray. This is absolutely must have if you live in a wooded area. We just put 2 more bottles on the cart for any future emergencies! I’m so thankful for this!

I buy Skunk Off premise spray by the gallon. My dog gets sprayed numerous times per year. I treat her with the Skunk Off shampoo. As everyone who has bathed a Skunk dog knows, the Skunk odor gets on your clothes. Collars also need to be deodorized. I soak clothing and collars in the premise spray. I let them soak at least an hour. Clothing is laundered and no odor remains. Collars I soak and then wash with dish washing liquid. They no longer smell and can be worn after they dry.I would recommend that you keep on hand, a gallon of premise spray along with a gallon of Skunk Off shampoo. When your dog encounters a Skunk, you will be glad you have it.

I used this product on both of my dogs after getting sprayed by a skunk (one of which is a Great Pyrenees with lots of hair) and it worked great! It was definitely worth the price. I will be purchasing again in the future if I need it!
